1st October, 2023: Autumn Concert of the Civica Filarmonica di Lugano – Première of Ischia by Antonino Pasculli, arranged by Franco Cesarini

On October 1, the Civica Filarmonica di Lugano conducted by Franco Cesarini will held the Autumn Concert in Lugano (Palazzo dei Congressi). Next to the première of Ischia by Antonino Pasculli, transcribed by Franco Cesarini, the programme features, among others, the arrangement of Giuseppe Verdi’s Gran Finale Atto II from the Opera Aida, alongside Sinfonia per Banda by Amilcare Ponchielli, both arranged by the Maestro. The Civica will also perform new arrangements of classical music by the Maestro: Festmusik der Stadt Wien (Richard Strauss) and Coronation March (Giacomo Meyerbeer).
