Franco Cesarini dedicated this march to the Swiss canton of Ticino, two thirds of which consists of an imposing, almost inaccessible mountain landscape. The work tells of the poetry of the landscape and the harmony of the songs of this region, which is so close to the eternal ice, so close to God. With his music, the composer wants to inspire new horizons to be explored and to live with body and soul in the here and now.
